AS/A2 programme - Ecology themed day
In this visit, AS/A2 students take part in a one or two day non-residential course. The course can either introduce or completely cover your curriculum requirements for Ecology.

Overview
Students can study in-situ conservation in a traditionally managed wildflower meadow, coppiced woodland and a freshwater lake. A variety of ecological techniques and statistical tests are carried out in selected habitats.
- Length: One or two days. Typically made up of 2 sessions per day of 1.5 - 2 hours each.
- Group size: 20 students (maximum)
- Minimum supervision required: 1 adult per 10 students

A typical day at Wakehurst is made up of two activities of approximately 1.5 - 2 hours each, one in the morning and one after lunch. We also offer a number of activity days, designed around a theme.
