Peter Williams

Peter WilliamsPeter has been shooting for 50 years, at first mostly for advertising clients, then also for The Observer Magazine, his first solid editorial client. At the end of the 1980s, he moved towards food photography, with books such as The Savoy Food and Drink Book, Caroline Conran's Delicious Home Cooking from Around the British Isles, and magazines, including Country Living and the magazines of newspapers such as The Guardian, The Sunday Telegraph and Evening Standard. In 2000 he won a Glenfiddich Food & Drink Award for work in The Guardian, and was also asked to contribute to Kew magazine for the first time. “It was”, he says, “a very good year!”

It is just sheer pleasure, shooting the picture for the Herbivore section of Kew magazine and seeing it, beautifully printed, in such company, in a unique magazine. Who could wish for more!
