Keith Collie
An architectural photographer, Keith trained at the Royal College of Art and worked for British Vogue as an interiors and still-life photographer in his formative years. Since then, he has represented Britain in the Venice Art Biennale and travelled extensively, securing a range of commissions for patrons, architectural practices and publishing houses worldwide. His work features in museum collections, including the National Portrait Gallery and the V&A in London and the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris. In recent years Keith has been concentrating on gaining experience in high-end digital capture and production.
“The photographic shoot of Kew Palace presented a rare opportunity to enjoy the original building in an exposed state, stripped bare, prior to its renaissance. The process of removal exposed the real character of the building – peeled back to its core, the structure began to take on a life of its own, revealing a potent atmosphere, a living history.”
