Don Kirkup, Herbarium, Kew

Test Key

Version March 2006

The key is based on information from the publications cited below, with additional information from herbarium specimens at K. This is a preliminary effort which is currently being checked for errors and ommisions. Feedback is welcome.

The family has between 28-36 genera. Pantropical Sauvagesia has several segregate genera especially in the neotropics, these are keyed separately. All paleotropical Ouratea are here treated as Gomphia, some of the African segregates of which look distinctive and are also keyed separately.
