To celebrate this major exhibition we have designed a range of courses in collaboration with Richmond Adult & Community College (RACC).
Through specialist tuition, you will be learning and exploring the same approaches that Moore developed in the creation of maquettes and drawings for his sculptures.
Your course will begin at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, where you will experience the splendour of Moore’s monumental work set against a variety of striking backdrops. From the formal gardens and great glasshouses to the spectacular arboretum you will be witnessing the sculptures in a landscape that will change throughout the seasons.
Drawing inspiration from both Moore’s sculpture and
the abundance of natural
forms and organic shapes at Kew, once back in the studios
at Richmond Adult & Community College, you will translate
your sketches or photographs and inspiration into your
chosen medium.
