Pre-booked Guided Tours for Groups
Guided walks are available at a cost of £25 per group of up to
25 visitors, payable in advance to secure the services of the guide.
The tours last about one-and-a-quarter hours.
For groups of foreign visitors requiring a tour, if numbers are greater than 25 the tour operator will need to provide two interpreters.
We have a limited number of guides available and whilst we endeavour to meet your requirements, at busy periods during the year this may not always be possible: hence an early booking is advisable.
Loder Valley Nature Reserve Walks
Pre-booked walks will be available Monday - Wednesday at 10.30am and 2.15pm.
Booking and payment must be made at last three weeks in advance. Cheques should be made payable to Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. All walks are limited to a maximum of 25 (minimum of five) people and subject to the availability of the warden.
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. This walk is not recommended for children under seven. Suitable warm, waterproof clothing and stout footwear are essential (conditions can be muddy!). The walk is moderately strenuous, including some steep inclines on muddy and slippery surfaces. People with health propblems, i.e. heart or breathing problems, could find this difficult. The paths are not suitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs. There are no facilities within the nature reserve.
