Eat the Seasons at Wakehurst

Stables restaurant at Wakehurst Place

At Wakehurst, we are committed to preparing and cooking all of our food from fresh, raw ingredients and The Stables restaurant maintains a close relationship between its menus and the best seasonal ingredients available.

With our caterers, the Company of Cooks, we have launched a campaign which runs throughout the year called Eat the Seasons. Our focus is to use seasonal British ingredients and to encourage even more local growers and food producers to supply us so that we can reduce the "food miles".

The Stables restaurant menu will change monthly and will include dishes such as Roast asparagus with Twineham Grange Parmesan and Grilled salmon fillet with almond & sorrel pesto. We will continue to work with our local suppliers such as Fellows Bakery in Ardingly, W. King, craft brewers of Horsham and Lillie's of Uckfield, to provide a menu full of taste and interest.

Group menus start at £14.00 (including 2 courses and a drink) and can be booked by calling 01444 894040.
