Tours, Talks and Open Days at Wakehurst Place

Guided tours of the Loder Valley operate on weekends and bank holidays, departing from the ticket office at 2.15pm.

Talks on Wildlife and Wildflowers of Sussex
- Free to garden visitors

Wildlife of Sussex talk on Monday 11 August at 3pm by Arthur Hoare.
Wildflowers of Sussex talk on Friday 22 August at 3pm by Arthur Hoare.

Discover wildlife secrets during these fascinating 45-minute glimpses into our county's biodiversity.

Plants, birds, animals and insects from town and countryside will be covered.

Nursery Open Days

The work of the Wakehurst Place nursery is vital to every other area of the Garden. There’s a unique chance to see ‘behind the scenes’ of UK conservation, and meet the green-fingered staff. The open weekend is on 31 May and 1 June.
