Our
main GIS software is the ERSI
Suite of GIS software. We have a site license
for ArcView
and 5 licenses for ArcInfo.
We use ERDAS
imagine for remote sensing applications. We
also use IDRISI
for some raster base GIS work
Our
GIS and remote sensing work is performed in
the Windows NT environment; web is handled by Linux.
We have a selection of PC workstation for
booking by users. Our main GIS server is a dual Pentium
workstation with 125 Gb of Network attached
storage.
We
hold a large amount of GIS and remotely
sensed data for the world and our study areas.
We
hope in future to have datasets, programs
and scripts available to download. At
