GIS and Conservation for Madagascar  - Download Data

We have made available the data set used in our vegetation analysis, please see our papers for more details. It is hoped that we can make more data available in the near future. 

Please be warned that the original vegetation, is getting very old, last estimates (1999) suggest that over 20% of what is presented on the primary vegetation maps has gone! If we can find funding we hope to produce an up to date vegetation map of Madagascar.  Please check the metadata for more information on the date and origin of the data.
