The majority of the photos in this gallery were taken by Richard Wilford, who is the Collections Manager in the Hardy Display Section at Kew. His is responsible for all the areas where alpines are grown at Kew Gardens; he also regularly contributes to Kew's Alpine and Rock Garden team blog.

There are some stunning flowers here, and it really shows the diversity of alpine plants
