Free entry (donation requested) from 4pm. Gardens close 9pm
Escape the hustle and bustle of the West End at this time of year and take time to enjoy the merriment of the season at one of Kew's FREE festive Late Night Openings.
A winter walk lighting up some of Kew's beautiful trees and historic buildings will create an atmospheric display and visitors can join in a rousing Carol Concert creating an enchanting and beautiful evening. Inside the Orangery there is seasonal fare on offer, whilst outside you can enjoy roast chestnuts and mulled wine.
Those who prefer leisurely shopping can exchange the overcrowded shops
in the city for a relaxed experience of shopping
at Kew, with a range
of traditional and luxurious gifts.
Father Christmas will be leaving the preparations for Christmas Eve
in the elves' capable hands so that he can meet children on both
evenings (in White Peaks, 5pm - 7.30pm).
And at Climbers and Creepers* enjoy playing inside, but don't miss the Climbers and Creepers characters as they stay up late to perform a special evening 'Planto'! at 5pm and again at 6pm. You can meet them afterwards!
