Recycle your Christmas tree

Kew will help you dispose of your Christmas tree!

Simply bring your tree to the Brentford Gate entrance after Christmas, and we will grind it into mulch to help enrich Kew's hungry soil. We will turn it into chippings that go on Kew's giant compost heap to be used to enrich the soil in the coming year.

Christmas tree recycling is available from 26 December until 7 January 2008.

To thank you for your time we will also give you a 2for1 voucher to come back to the Gardens. This 2for1 Voucher is valid until 31 January 2008.

You can also bring your Christmas tree for recycling to Wakehurst Place car park from 6 January until 31 January 2008.

Thank you!
