Orchid Festival returns in 2009

There is no Orchid Festival in 2008 as our Henry Moore exhibition continues until 30 March. However watch out for news of our tropical feature planned for Feb 2009. As part of Kew's 250th anniversary celebrations, this colourful tropical themed festival will include displays of Orchids and insectivorous plants, set inside the Princess of Wales conservatory.

However for those keen to see more of orchids in 2008, please note that there is a year-round permanent display of orchids inside the Princess of Wales conservatory. Displays are split between a cooler temperate zone and hot tropical zone, and change weekly.

You can find the Princess of Wales conservatory on the map given to all visitors.

For more information on orchids, visit Explore Kew - Orchids.
