We provide a programme of courses and other activities for professionals, postgraduates and undergraduates to facilitate access to our collections and expertise. Currently these comprise: Vegetation Survey Training Course, 14 – 25 September 2009Kew has a long history in vegetation surveys in many parts of the world and this course, taught by staff from Kew and its partners, covers a wide range of techniques and issues, from fundamentals of vegetation classification and characterisation, through to advanced techniques and survey methodologies. Kew Diploma in HorticultureA three-year full-time botanical horticulture training course, the Kew Diploma in Horticulture. International Diploma CoursesA programme of International Diploma Courses for professionals from botanic gardens and other plant conservation organisations. Each course, lasting up to 8 weeks, supports participants in developing the horticultural, botanical and other specialised skills essential for increasing knowledge of the world's plant diversity and for its conservation and sustainable use.
