Student projects

Student working on projectSome subjects are assessed by coursework which comes in the form of projects.

Projects include plant physiology, ecology, management, crop protection, propagation, structural botany, soils, landscape design, surveying and systematic botany. Projects are written either during the lecture block or following it, and are usually between 2000 - 5000 words in length. Projects are tackled either as individual endeavours or as group efforts depending on the subject.

Other subjects are assessed by examination at the end of each year’s lecture block.
