International organisations

Kew works closely with Rio Tinto’s other UK biodiversity partners including BirdLife International, Earthwatch and Fauna and Flora International.

Both Rio Tinto and its partner conservation organisations recognise that, by working together, they can bring complementary skills to the table and achieve more collectively than any organisation working alone.

Local institutions & communities

At a project level, Kew works in close collaboration with a range of local institutions and communities. Kew draws upon their in-country skills and expertise, whilst at the same time developing their capacity to undertake research of relevance to companies in the future.
