List of Taxa Subject to Controls: Annexes A, B & C and Annex D
The European Union has now implemented the changes adopted at the 13th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CITES. These changes came into effect in all European Union member states on 30th August, 2003. Check the EU website (http://www.eu-wildlifetrade.org/) for details, including the updated annexes.

CITES is implemented in the 27 EU Member States by means of EU Regulations; these are stricter than CITES in some respects.
The Regulation consists of four Annexes, A-D: the table below summaries the taxa included in Annexes.
