Visiting Computing at Kew

The IT Support and Business systems teams are based in Hanover House, a grade II listed Georgian building, adjacent to the Herbarium and Library on Kew Green.

The Applications development team are based in the Sir Joseph Banks building.

Visitors should follow the general directions for getting to Kew and head for the Herbarium on Kew Green, to the right of the Main Gate. On arrival, visitors should report to the Herbarium Reception.

Visitors Parking

There is limited free parking on Kew Green, but some areas are designated as Residents Parking only. There are visitors parking facilities inside the site, not for public visitors use, behind the Herbarium building itself.

Public Transport

Visitors arriving at Kew Gardens Station (Underground District Line and North London Line) should allow 15-20 minutes for the walk to the Herbarium.
Visitors arriving at Kew Bridge overground station should allow 10 minutes walking time.
Visitors coming by Bus should alight near Kew Green, either at the south side of Kew Bridge or near the junction of the Kew and Mortlake roads and allow 5 minutes walking time.
