Bethlehem Wood

On the site of ancient woodland, Bethlehem Wood provides and ideal habitat for wildlife and native woodland flowers, with primroses in early spring, and swathes of bluebells in May.  Now home to the National Collection of Birch, Bethlehem Wood has a rich and fascinating heritage.  Species include Himalayan Birch Betula utilis, Paper Birch Betula papyrifera, and Sweet Birch Betula lenta.
