Bulb planting at Kew
A drift of flowering bulbs
Narcissus obvallaris
Tenby Daffodil
Narcissus obvallaris carries flowers of clear golden yellow and grows to a height of 24cm. This sturdy species, flowering in February and March, looks striking naturalised in grass. They bring a warm, bright colour to Kew in the springtime and provide a wonderful lift to the spirits.
140,000 bulbs are planted on Princess Walk Meadows.
