Autumn Nights at Kew22 - 26 October 2005This year, as the evenings draw in, there will be no pumpkin display. Instead Kew Gardens will open its doors after dark, to give visitors the unique opportunity to see the 24 Chihuly installations illuminated at night. This is a unique part of the Gardens of Glass: Chihuly at Kew exhibition. If you have witnessed these installations in the day or are yet to experience them, these evening sessions will take your breath away. A lit walking route, will guide visitors around the gardens and inside the iconic glasshouses*, home to a majority of the Chihuly installations. On your journey across the Gardens you'll see The Sun shine in the Princess of Wales Conservatory and the Palm House Towers lit up like flames. *the Temperate House and Princess of Wales Conservatory will be open. To entertain the family there will also be glass blowing demonstrations, fire-eaters and jugglers. You can also delve deeper into the world of Chihuly and visit one of the indoor exhibitions, which give more information about his work and previous exhibitions.
