Science & Horticultural Consultancy
As a consequence of 250 years of public service, Kew is a powerhouse of global plant-based knowledge and skills, with taxonomic and economic plant databases at our fingertips.
Kew has over 200 scientists in a diverse range of disciplines including taxonomy, seed science, economic and ethno-botany, microbiology, plant chemistry, morphology, mycology, genetics and plant–animal interactions. We also have a further 200 world-class horticulturalists. As a result, Kew can provide a wide range of services for organisations including the extractive, commodity, construction, health and cosmetics industries, international development and conservation organisations.
