Overview

Over 120 volunteers support Wakehurst staff in a range of activities that help Kew deliver its aims. These activities include education, research, horticulture and interpretation. Enthusiastic team players with a passion for the environment, a desire to learn new skills and meet new people are sought to help in our high profile public areas.

There are a number of horticultural volunteer opportunities at Wakehurst including the Gardens Unit, Logistics Unit, Nursery - indoor and outdoor and the Woodland and Conservation Unit. Time commitment is normally one day per week.
