Kew Publishing is the publishing house of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. We produce over 20 new titles each year, catering for diverse readerships from scientists and academics to the general public of all ages. We aim to inspire and educate people about our work and to make available Kew’s unique heritage and resources, knowledge and cutting edge expertise to as wide an audience as possible throughout the world. Latest news - Awards success for Kew Publishing
Garden Media Guild Awards 2012
On 29 November Kew Publishing won the Reference Book of the Year award at the Garden Media Guild Awards for Hardy Heathers from the Northern Hemisphere by Charles Nelson. Huanduj: Brugmansia was also a finalist in this category. Edward Parker was a finalist in the Book Photographer of the Year category for Photographing Trees by Kew Publishing.
Rachel Mason Dentinger won the New Writer of the Year award at the Garden Media Guild Awards for three feature articles in Kew magazine: The Allure of Dracula in the spring issue, Seeing the Wood for the Trees in the summer issue, and Underground Connections in the autumn issue.
Kew magazine was also a finalist in the Environment category for Bruce Pavlik's article Piecing together the jigsaw from the winter 2011 issue; the Garden Columnist of the Year category for Andrew Jackson's Wakehurst View column, and the Feature Photographer of the Year category for John Millar's photography of David Nash sculptures in the autumn issue feature The Art of Nature.
The Garden Media Guild Awards celebrate the best in garden writing - including books, newspapers and magazines - photography, broadcasting - TV and radio - and new media - gardening websites and blogs. They are the garden media 'Oscars'.

Publication of the Year 2010: Why People Need Plants, produced in association with the Open University.
Kew Enterprises were also awarded Best Licensed Product of the Year for scented Kew's soy candles inspired by the Living Plant Collections.
