Kew Magazine
Welcome to Kew Magazine
Plants are not only beautiful and intriguing, they are the basis of all life on Earth. At Kew we work to increase understanding of the plant and fungal kingdoms and promote the sustainable management of our environment.
Kew, the quarterly magazine of the Royal Botanic Gardens, pulls together a fascinating mix of articles which go behind the scenes to explain the immense range of Kew’s work at home and abroad. From horticulture, education, conservation and the environment, to art and history, all features focus on plants and the people who work with them. Among the stories that Kew tells are those about plant-hunting expeditions to remote corners of the world, plant conservation work in many countries, profiles of Kew’s experts, discoveries of new species, and the ways in which people can use the world's plants to improve their lives. The latest news from Kew and the world of plant science, and a diary of events completes the magazine.
The contribution of top writers and photographers combined with outstanding design, high production values and editorial quality makes Kew a beautiful magazine and a well-respected ambassador for the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Winner of Garden Media Guild award for Features Photographer 2008 and Environmental Writer 2008.
