Kew is the world leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.
Funded by a major grant from the Big Lottery Fund, Grow Wild is an ambitious mass-participation programme that aims to inspire people – especially disadvantaged young people – to do something positive for where they live by sowing UK native wild flowers. The programme aims to reach 30 million people and get 3 million people to take direct action by 2017.
Working with the Marketing Manager in this new and exciting role, you will develop and implement integrated campaigns to meet the Grow Wild strategic programme outcome and impact targets. You will plan and produce integrated social marketing and brand advertising campaigns, manage agency relationships, provide marketing guidance and work with the media-buying agency to produce integrated strategies.
You will have experience in the development, management and delivery of a multi-channel marketing communications campaign and in managing successful large-scale public engagement campaigns in the charity, environment or youth sectors. You will have a proven background of managing a budget of at least £2m and working with a range of creative and production agencies. An excellent project manager and communicator, you will use your wide-ranging industry contacts to ensure success in this role.
