Kew is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life. 

In this vital role, you will develop and maintain the Computer Aided Design strategy and Property Asset databases for Kew and Wakehurst Place. This role provides CAD and property data expertise to the Head of Estates and the teams, in the development and ongoing maintenance of Estates property management strategy aimed at optimising the use of Kew and Wakehurst Place buildings.

Qualified to degree level in a related discipline or with significant proven construction-related technical experience, you will possess a recognised accreditation certificate in operation and management of AutoCAD2. You will have extensive experience of developing and managing building/estate-based CAD systems and of working within a project team delivering a CAD service on new builds and refurbishment projects. A working knowledge of the Building Regulations, and Town & Country Planning, Health & Safety and Environmental Legislation is essential.

You will be an excellent relationship builder who can work co-operatively with customers and stakeholders, maintaining consistent and clear communications to produce innovative solutions. You will also possess high-quality analytical skills, the ability to ensure projects are delivered successfully and extensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

Salary is from £32,429 -£42,550 per annum dependent on skills and experience  and benefits include 30 days holiday per year, a choice of pensions, a flexible benefits scheme as well as a great working environment.
