SALARY PER ANNUM: £42,115 - £54,479 per annum dependent on skills and experience


LOCATION: Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew

Working with our newly appointed Director of Science, this brand new role will give you the opportunity to make a positive contribution and significant impact to Kew’s scientific presence on the world stage. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that Kew is responsive to developments in policy and in developing key strategic partnerships to increase Kew’s influence and contribution to the scientific debate.

With a PhD and relevant post-doctoral experience, you will have a broad understanding of policy trends and relevant initiatives and a keen interest in, and good knowledge of, plant science. A strategic thinker with the ability to take an overview of the wider horizon and make informed and proactive decisions, you will be excellent at multi-tasking and will have experience of developing and implementing strategies and of working within the governmental science arena.
