Kew is the world-leader in plant diversity science. Situated in the High Weald in West Sussex, Wakehurst is the country estate of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. With over 500 acres including gardens, water features, wetlands, woodlands, Nature Reserve and a Grade 1 listed Elizabethan Mansion, Wakehurst also houses 4 National Plant Collections. RBG Kew Enterprises Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kew, whose key objective is to maximise revenue through its commercial activities.

We currently have an opportunity within our Events and Venue Hire Team for a Wedding and Events Co-ordinator. You will support the Weddings and Events Manager in all aspects of the sales and delivery of events at Wakehurst Place; from responding to initial inquiries and conducting show-rounds of the venue, to the planning of the event and ensuring everything runs smoothly on the day.  You will deliver an excellent standard of customer service for the client and ensure high standards of quality are maintained in all aspects of the sales process and the event itself, as well as consistently meeting deadlines and sales targets.

Previous experience of the operational delivery of events is essential for this role, including the ability to work to tight deadlines. Ideally you will also have some experience of events sales and administration. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are a must.   

You will be required to work weekends and evenings on a regular basis.
