Providing comprehensive executive administration support to the Director of Kew Gardens, this is a crucial role enabling the Director to maximise operational and strategic output. As well as ensuring the effective and efficient management of all relevant arrangements, you will also be required to monitor and report on the team’s budget and undertake autonomous projects aimed at supporting the Director’s activities.
As well as providing direct line management for the receptionist at Kew, you will also build close working relationships with all stakeholders and colleagues inside and outside of Kew, from volunteers to Board members, prominent scientists and key opinion-formers and their offices..
With extensive board-level administrative support experience, you will be highly organised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will have high professional standards, utterly discreet and with a sharp attention to detail.. You will be passionate about achieving excellence both personally and as an organisation and will have the ability to motivate and inspire others with your enthusiasm, energy and drive. This is a high pressured, busy, varied and exciting role. Solid and extensive competence with MS Office is required.
