JOB STATUS: Fixed-term contract until March 2015

SALARY PER ANNUM: £32,429 - £42,550 p.a. (depending on skills and experience)

JOB DETAILS:

Kew is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life. 

We are looking for an accomplished Project Manager to deliver technology-enabled projects for Kew on behalf of the Technology Portfolio.  This will be achieved by the day-to-day management of a sizable, business critical change project, which forms part of Kew’s five year Strategic Rolling Business Plan, to support the delivery of Kew’s Breathing Planet Programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a Project Management qualification, or equivalent expertise, experience implementing digitisation projects and a working background within a natural history or heritage collections environment, to be involved in an important and interesting project.

You will have proven expertise of leading and managing technology-based projects, involving multidisciplinary teams and diverse stakeholder groups.  In addition, you will have a background of project work that brings about procedural and/or business change and of delivering government funded projects.
