JOB DETAILS:

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew) is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the IT team. This is a detailed, technical, numeric and analytical role, ensuring the integrity of data and providing a quality of analysis and reporting in a dynamic and multi-dimensional environment. Current databases include: the fundraising database, ThankQ CRM (TQ), the accounting application Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 (GP 2010), and significant other external data interfaces.

This role provides the opportunity for an innovative developer to play a significant role in a world renowned organisation, driving forward the development and adoption of the Foundation’s BI strategy including sourcing new tools and techniques for information delivery.

You will need to be competent in the use of multiple software applications in order to extract data, analyse it and present the results with considered conclusions  Previous data analyst experience in the commercial or charitable sectors is essential, as well as a genuine understanding of and enthusiasm for the power of data analytics.
