We have an opportunity for an experienced team leader/ manager to join our Horticulture Department. Forming part of the horticultural team in the Hardy Display Section, you will be managing and working in teams responsible for the practical development of amenity areas and plant collections. You will manage, coach and develop staff to maximise their effectiveness in carrying out their duties and ensuring high horticultural standards that inspire and educate visitors. You will provide support to festivals and events teams in preparing and implementing displays to increase visitor numbers and income generation.   

With a NVQ level 3 or above in Horticulture, and/or significant horticultural management experience, you will have a broad knowledge of cultivation and display of a range of hardy shrubs, herbaceous perennials, annuals and bulbs, and general turf maintenance. Highly organised with good communication skills, you will have proven experience of coaching staff or demonstrating horticultural techniques.

Starting salary will be £22,056 per annum. Benefits include 30 days holiday per year, a choice of pensions, a flexible benefits scheme as well as a great working environment.
