This is an opportunity to join Royal Botanic Gardens Kew at a very exciting time as the organisation is fully focused on growing its income to help secure the future of its essential science and conservation work. The marketing assistant role will be critical to its success by coordinating marketing activities linked to generating ticket sales.

Your key responsibilities will be for delivering marketing activities including campaign support, online marketing and sales promotions. With the support of the Marketing Manager you will coordinate the adaptation of creative concepts into fully integrated marketing campaigns, implement regular updates of the visitor pages of Kew website as well as producing a number of email marketing bulletins and other e-marketing activities. You will use your analytical and administration skills to track visitor figures and manage our day to day finances.  

We are looking for someone who has basic marketing experience, or excellent administration skills and a keen interest for marketing. We are ideally looking for someone who has had some experience of print production, web page management and experience of liaising with printers and design agencies.  However if you can demonstrate related experience as well as a serious interest and aptitude for marketing we are happy to coach and develop you. Overall you must be prepared to demonstrate in interview that you are highly organised and deadline driven as well as creative with an excellent attention to detail.  

The role is part time for 25 hours per week and daily working hours are negotiable. We are flexible but this role may work well for someone who is looking for a role that fits with school hours so can work 9.30 – 3pm 5 days per week.
