The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew) is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Foundation to lead on the provision of up-to-date, accurate and efficiently-produced research on, individuals, companies, charitable grant-givers, statutory and research funding bodies and other subjects as required, using expertise in information retrieval from a wide variety of resources and media: for instance the identification of new prospects; in-depth profiles of high net worth individuals; maintaining and updating existing prospect information; company profiles and commercial data organised, for example, by sector, performance, country of operation; trust and foundation profiles; and competitor analysis.

You will need to have demonstrable track record in fundraising with specific experience of prospect research or equivalent.  As well as excellent organisational and communications skills, you must have a creative approach to problem solving and an analytical mind.
