The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew) is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.
Joining our Interpretation and Engagement Department, this is an exciting opportunity to lead the Interpretation Team to deliver innovative and compelling interpretation to engage visitors with our mission. The role will manage new projects, as well as upgrading the quality of existing interpretation throughout the glasshouses and diverse horticultural displays.
Highly organised and creative, you will relish working across a range of projects and media, and turning complex scientific information into delightful visitor experiences. You will have excellent research and writing skills combined with complex project management experience. As well as strong interpersonal skills, you are an effective manager, able to influence and motivate a wide range of stakeholders.
