We have an opportunity for an experienced manager to join our Horticulture Department. Forming part of the management team of the Hardy Display Section, you will lead the team in maintaining and developing the garden areas and plant collections, and in creating displays of high horticultural standard that inspire and educate visitors. Providing support to events and coordinating volunteers in the Section will also form part of your role, as well as deputising for the Head of Section as and when required.

With a Kew Diploma or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and/or substantial horticultural management experience, you will have a deep working knowledge of horticulture and plant science, along with significant practical horticultural experience working with a range of hardy and half-hardy plants. Highly organised with excellent communication skills, you will have proven experience of managing a large team in a horticultural discipline and the ability to train staff in horticultural techniques and procedures.

Salary will be £26,067 - £35,505 per annum, depending on skills and experience. Benefits include 30 days holiday per year, a choice of pensions, a flexible benefits scheme as well as a great working environment.
