HOURS OF WORK: One post - Full-time (5 days per week) working Thursday – Monday

One post - Part time (3 days per week) working Saturday – Monday

JOB STATUS: Permanent

SALARY PER ANNUM: circa £22,000 (Full time equivalent)

JOB DETAILS:

The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew) is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

We are looking for two Customer Service Assistants to join our team. These posts will provide an efficient, courteous and professional enquiry and communications service to the members by telephone, email and face to face meetings. You will encourage and process new and renewing memberships, maintain the supporter database and take and record Gift Aid declarations.

You will need to have customer care or customer facing experience and fast and accurate data entry experience.  Good empathetic communication skills with a genuine desire to help and an enthusiastic team player, you will also possess a methodical approach to working and a high level of attention to detail.  Charity sector experience is desirable.
