JOB DETAILS:

Kew is a world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

The main tasks of this role are to assist with an information audit within Kew through undertaking research about the function of each department and the records they produce and to assist with the analysis of the data gathered.  In addition there will be some general administrative support to the project.   The audit being carried out is a crucial stage in the process of implementing an electronic document and records management system for Kew. 
You will already have experience of working in a record keeping role and be working towards an archives/record management qualification.  You will have excellent attention to details, good analytical and research skills and be able to present key data in a useable format.  You will have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook and access) be self-motivated and be able to work well as part of a team.   

You will be able to work your hours on the same days each week as agreed with managers

Salary is £17,729 per annum pro rata and benefits include 30 days holiday per year pro rata, a choice of pensions, a flexible benefits scheme as well as a great working environment.
