The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew is an internationally recognised and highly successful scientific research institute and visitor attraction that highlights the importance of plants in all our lives.
In 2007 Kew began the development of the Breathing Planet Programme focusing on global conservation, helping to reduce the extent and impact of climate change and sustainable development. The Programme outlines how Kew' will help to address the major environmental challenges facing the world. Information Management is critical to the success of the Programme and Kew are now seeking to appoint a Chief Information Officer to develop and implement the organisation’s Information Management Strategy to support and enable the Breathing Planet Programme.
Essentials:
You will possess exceptional leadership qualities with a proven track record in leading the development and implementation of IT strategies, have strong experience of building relationships and influencing key stakeholders and will have successfully led and managed multi-function IT departments with a business change agenda.
