The Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew (Kew) is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major visitor attraction that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

The Reflora project aims to make Kew’s collections of Brazilian herbarium specimens widely accessible through capture of digital images and data, whilst building support for advancing botanical resources and research activity involving the diverse Brazilian flora.  We have a an opportunity to join the Digital Collections Unit of the Kew Herbarium, to contribute to this and other projects/collections in support of Kew’s Mission and our Breathing Planet Programme
 You will be responsible for primary data and image capture from herbarium specimens, involving locating, selecting and extracting specimens from the herbarium, capture of associated data and high resolution imaging in accordance with Kew standards.
