SALARY PER ANNUM: £26,067 - £35,505 depending on skills and experience

LOCATION: This post could be located at Wakehurst, West Sussex or Kew

JOB DETAILS:

Kew is the world-leader in plant diversity science, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a major visitor attraction, that shows the importance of plants in all our lives. Kew’s mission is to inspire and deliver science-based plant conservation worldwide, enhancing the quality of life.

In this role, you will be required to maintain and deliver a stable software infrastructure which enables the online delivery of Kew’s scientific applications to both internal users and the wider scientific community. You will need to be a technical expert in your own right who has the experience, knowledge and understanding to become a credible source of information which can then be disseminated to the rest of the team.

You will be educated to degree level in a relevant IT discipline, and will have a solid background of working in a similar role and of running and maintaining a systems support environment.  An excellent communicator with great interpersonal skills, you will be able to provide confident and credible leadership to a team and have an innovative and proactive approach to problem solving.
