To download a file to your hard disk:

• if using a PC, right click on the name of the file you require and select Save Target as. Choose a location and click Save.

When downloading an EPS file using Internet Explorer the suffix may be changed by default to .ps. Ensure that it is saved with the the suffix .eps by typing in the extra 'e' - eg. KewLogo_CMYK_pc.eps

You will not be able to use the file until you have changed it to
.eps

• if using a Macintosh, control click on the name of the file you require and select Download Link to Disk. Choose a location and click Save.

Always use EPS files for quality print and display work (e.g. in Quark, MS Word). If the software does not support the EPS format use TIF files. Use GIF files for fast screen display (e.g. Powerpoint) and on web pages. Spot colour eps files are for use in specialised printing processes. Your production company will be able to advise on which file format to supply.
